Individual Volunteers

Thank you for your interest in volunteering to make a difference in the life of a child! We are passionate about you – our KID Heroes. Our work is possible because of volunteers standing and serving beside us. Please fill out this form and submit today!

KID Aftercare Volunteers

Tutors wanted! Volunteers can offer homework and reading assistance during the school year at our Aftercare Program between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday. During KID Summer Camp, volunteer support is needed Monday-Friday 9:30 am-5:00 pm to assist with the day’s planned activities.

KID Preschool PLUS Volunteers

An extra set of hands is always welcomed in our Preschool! Volunteer support is needed in the classrooms with arts & crafts, outdoor play, games, reading support and more! Opportunities are available Monday through Friday, 9:30am – 5:00pm.

Administrative Volunteers

Volunteers can support our various departments with office duties including, but not limited to: filing, archiving, shredding, and organizing.  Organizational skills are a plus.

Special Events

Volunteers can benefit while having tons of fun supporting KID at our signature events, including our Annual Duck Fest Derby, presented by JM Family Enterprises, Inc. Our main needs during events are set-up and breakdown.

Volunteers Under 16

At KID, we believe that anyone of any age can make a difference in the lives of the children and families we serve. You have to be 16 years old to volunteer on our campus. If you are younger than 16 you can still get involved! For every $20 you raise for KID through any of the options below (or any other creative ideas you can come up with) you will get 1 hour of community service.

Donate Your Birthday

Instead of receiving gifts, ask your friends and family to make a donation to KID!

Be A Duck Fest Derby Ambassador

Help us get 40,000 rubber ducks adopted for the annual Duck Fest Derby presented by JM Family Enterprises, Inc. You can start a team and invite your friends to become Duck Ambassadors too. (You must be 18 years or older to adopt a duck). Check out Duck Headquarters for more information!

Host a Drive or a Bake Sale

Get your friends together at school or in your community and collect new or gently used clothes, non-perishable food, or baby items or host a bake sale and donate the proceeds to KID.

Participate in the KID Hero 5K

Join our other KID Superheroes in a race to the finish line at the Annual KID Hero 5K presented by Ultimate Software and hosted by the KID Auxiliary. Assemble your team and see how far you can go! Check out the KID Hero 5K page for more details.

Volunteer Groups

We have numerous ways for your group to make a difference. Please fill out this Group Volunteer Inquiry and someone from our Volunteer Team will contact you to discuss available opportunities for your group!
